Your visit begins at the ticket office itself, an original half-timbered house, typical architecture of German immigrants that was built and restored in Parque do Castelinho.

Discover grandpa's house

Be sure to visit grandpa's house, where the Franzen family lived during the construction of Castelinho Caracol.

Pass by the Sheds

As you pass by the sheds, you can see an old blacksmith shop and agricultural tools that were used in the past.

Enter the Castle

When you arrive at Castelinho you will take a charming "journey to the past"! A unique construction, all in araucaria wood, with a system of fittings and screws, without the use of nails. Visit the rooms and experience the memories of an era. The park is maintained by the family of one of the grandchildren.

see the sawmill

At the sawmill of Mr. Pedro Franzen you can find joinery tools and machinery that was powered by steam, to manufacture wood.

pass the bridge

Take the opportunity to stroll and contemplate the nature of the Park, next to the sawmill, cross the Bridge over the Arroio Caracol.
